  1. Pretty cool. It would be even better if it was interactive and you could spin it around and zoom in and out.

    I can actually make out Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kyiv, as well as Donbass, the second most-prosperous region of Ukraine.

    The wealth of Russia is extremely concentrated. A couple years ago I read an article stating that 80% of Russia’s entire wealth is located within the Moscow city limits. For Ukraine the figure was 40% of Ukraine’s wealth is in Kyiv. US is more dispersed, which is probably a healthy thing. New York only accounts for about 20% of America’s wealth, even though it has most of the stock exchanges.
